A note on gifts

The biggest gift to us is your love, laughter and company at our wedding.

Please do not feel obligated to give anything else.

 

However, should you feel inclined, we are very much looking forward to a honeymoon and any contribution towards that would be sincerely appreciated. Your generosity will help us create unforgettable memories together!

Ideas for gifting

Some ideas we'd love to be able to experience on our honeymoon are below:

A bottle of champagne for the journey

As we'll be travelling by train, a way to make the journey to our honeymoon a little more special would be popping a bottle open. We would expect this to be around £35

First Class upgrade for the journey

We'll be travelling on the Eurostar to get to Amsterdam, and for a bit of extra luxury we'd love to be able to sit in the spacious seats - these go for ~£70 more per person, each way.

Takeaway

We're staying on a houseboat in Amsterdam, so delivery may be tricky, but we'd really enjoy a takeaway we can eat while switching off in the evenings. Nothing like a Dutch pizza to put you at ease...

Museum trip

There are some wonderful museums in Amsterdam, most of which have a ticket fee for entry - these range from £15 to £30. We'd appreciate any museum recommendations - or any other must-do experiences in Amsterdam too! (Keep these PG if you can!)

A night on the houseboat

Staying on a cozy Dutch houseboat costs in the region of £200 to £250 per night (depending on the views from the deck!)
